There are two articles here. Both is the same topic. I saw this commercial a couple days ago its clever, but then again its cleverness upset a lot of women. I honestly skimmed through the articles. I was more interested in the comments at the bottom of the articles. What I found interesting is a woman ‘Emily’ the commercial upset her some much that she actually stopped drinking Dr. Pepper and she said shes been a valued customer until now. Media is very powerful and I think Dr. Pepper should have kept their commercials a little more simple. I believe writing on their ad in bold prints “ITS NOT FOR WOMEN” is not very clever. If I saw this ad as a woman I would be offended. In all honesty I did not get the joke until I did small research on the commercial.
